About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Borderland Jerky online store and purchases made through it. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Borderland Jerky. Our store is hosted by Shopify. Please read these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.
Using the store
You must have the legal capacity to place an order or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where applicable. Provide accurate contact, delivery, and payment information. Do not use the store for unlawful purposes, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit fraudulent orders. Keep any account credentials secure.
Products and food information
We sell carne seca and Japanese-style peanuts in the flavors and sizes shown on the product listings. Product photos are for identification and presentation; packaging appearance and screen colors may vary. Flavor and perceived spice intensity are subjective.
Check the actual package label for ingredients, allergens, storage instructions, and any best-by information. Our peanut products contain peanuts. Do not assume other products are allergen-free. If you have an allergy or dietary concern, contact us before ordering and consuming the product. Do not consume a product if its packaging is damaged or it appears unsafe.
Prices, payment, and orders
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless another currency is expressly displayed. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are shown before you complete checkout. Prices and availability may change for future orders. We may contact you if we identify a pricing error, unavailable item, suspected fraud, or an issue preventing fulfillment. We will not substitute a product or charge an increased price without your agreement. If we cancel an order, any payment collected for the canceled portion will be refunded.
Shipping, cancellations, and refunds
Our Shipping Policy explains processing and delivery arrangements. Our Return and Refund Policy explains the no-return rule for food products, order changes, and how we address damaged, incorrect, missing, or defective items. These policies do not limit rights or remedies you have under applicable law.
Store content and third-party services
Our brand names, images, text, and other store content may be protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the site for personal shopping and other lawful purposes but may not copy or commercially exploit protected content without permission or another lawful basis. Links to third-party services, including social media and WhatsApp, are subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies.
Availability and consumer rights
We take reasonable steps to keep store information accurate and the site available, but occasional errors or interruptions may occur. Contact us if you find an issue. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, warranties, or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Updates
We may revise these terms for future use of the store and future orders by posting an updated version. Changes do not retroactively remove rights relating to orders already placed. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
